COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Amber Alert issued Sunday for a one-year-old Columbus boy was cancelled after the child was found safe. According to a press release from the Columbus Police Department the alert was issued after Andrea Rhoades, 43, was accused of abducting Solomon Rhoades on Saturday night. Rhoades was described in the press release as Solomon’s non-custodial mother. The alert was cancelled when Rhoades took the boy to a home on Sycamore Drive around 9:15 Sunday morning. She was arrested on a preliminary charge of interference with custody.
