WESTPORT, Ind. – A toddler was struck and killed by a vehicle on state Route 3 in Decatur County on Monday night. According to Indiana State Police, David Vanderbur, 45, of Greensburg, was traveling northbound near Westport when Lena Snowden, 2, wandered into the road. Vanderbur was unable to avoid striking the girl who died instantly.
