COLUMBUS, Ind. – A Columbus man was arrested after giving police a false name. The Columbus Police Department says officers were called to a hotel on Jonathan Moore Pike to investigate reports of a man walking around acting suspiciously. Officers found Nathan Ingram, 27, who initially gave officers a fake name. Ingram’s actual identity was confirmed and it was determined he had three warrants for his arrest. Ingram was taken into custody and while searching him prior to transporting him to jail, officers allegedly located a syringe and a glass pipe in his pants pockets. He has been preliminarily charged with possession of a legend drug device and possession of paraphernalia.
