COLUMBUS, Ind. – A Columbus man is in jail on methamphetamine charges following a traffic stop Tuesday. Authorities at the Columbus Police Department say that during the traffic stop of a moped, officers determined the driver, Jose Manuel Irizarry Rivera, 33, was driving with a suspended license. After taking Rivera into custody officers allegedly found meth is one of his pockets. He was taken to the Bartholomew County Jail.
