INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation will hold two public hearings to discuss widening Interstate 65 in Bartholomew and Jackson Counties. The 143 million dollar project will widen I-65 to six lanes between Seymour and Columbus, modernize the same stretch of road, and rehabilitate seven overpass bridges.
The first public hearing will be held June 7, at Columbus City Hall, followed by a meeting on June 8, in the Brownstown Town Hall. Both forums will begin at 6 p.m.
