COLUMBUS, Ind.–A burglary suspect was arrested in Columbus on Tuesday evening. Lt. Matt Harris with the Columbus Police Department says the the arrest came after officers responded to a fight in an alley. The officers detained one of the men involved in the fight, Brandon A. Kincheloe, 24, of Columbus, and later determined that he was a suspect in a burglary that had just occurred. Officers say they found marijuana, a large smoking pipe, and property allegedly taken during the burglary while searching Kincheloe. He was transported to the Bartholomew County Jail on numerous preliminary charges including burglary, theft, and battery.
