BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. – Another church has been vandalized in Bartholomew County. Vandals broke windows and damaged all of the exterior flood lights and security lights at Triumphant Baptist Church on Southern Crossing. Bartholomew County Sheriff Matthew Myers believes there is a connection to the recent church vandalisms. The sheriff’s department is providing extra patrols for country churches, but suggests all places of worship have a plan for facilities to be watched after hours.
Sheriffs Myers encourages anyone who lives near a church to report anything unusual to 9-1-1 immediately.
