HOPE, Ind.—A Hope man is in custody after a brief chase near Hope. According to the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department, Carl McNicholas would not stop for a Hope police officer and fled in his vehicle until sheriff’s deputies deployed stop sticks, disabling the truck driven by McNicholas. He was arrested on charges of resisting law enforcement, driving while suspended, and 11 other warrants. He was taken to Bartholomew County Jail.
