COLUMBUS, Ind.—The Moving Vietnam Wall will be on display this weekend at the Bartholomew County Fairgrounds. Organizer Al McKown says there will be a parade to announce the wall’s arrival. Anyone wanting to participate is invited to come to the Sam’s Club parking lot on Thursday morning, where the parade will begin at 9 a.m.
The parade will make a 12.5-mile path around Columbus, culminating at the Bartholomew County Fairgrounds to assemble the wall. Once complete, the display will be available for viewing 24/7 from noon on Thursday until Monday morning at 10 a.m. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.
