COLUMBUS, Ind. — An Indianapolis woman is being charged with false informing following an incident in Edinburgh last month. According to the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department, on June 11, Tiffany McGinnis, 29, reported that she was raped by her ex-boyfriend. As her report was investigated, it was discovered McGinnis has been charged with false informing in numerous other counties. She later admitted the most recent allegation of rape was false. She has again been charged with false informing.
