FRANKLIN, Ind.—An Indianapolis man is in jail following a five-hour standoff with law enforcement on Thursday in Johnson County. Authorities at the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department say Shawn Hatten, 34, was being served a warrant at an Indianapolis apartment when officers determined he had a gun. The Indianapolis Metro SWAT team was called to the scene after Hatten refused to exit the apartment peacefully for five hours. Tear gas was used to force Hatten out of the residence and he was taken into custody.
