COLUMBUS, Ind.–The Consul-General of Japan in Chicago, Naoki Ito, visited Columbus yesterday to observe the state of Japanese investments in the area. Impressed with the way the community has embraced the 27 companies operating in Bartholomew County, Mr. Ito said he hopes this will be just the beginning of a closer bond between Japan and the city of Columbus.
