COLUMBUS, Ind.–Puccini’s restaurant in downtown Columbus at The Commons will soon be under new management. Yesterday, the Columbus Redevelopment Commission approved amending the current lease with Puccini’s owner Kevin Curtis and re-assigning it to ST#3, Incorporated. The company and one of its partners, Paul Heilbrunn, have successfully owned and operated two sister stores in Bloomington under the Bucceto’s name since 2004. In his discussion with the commission, Heilbrunn noted several problems he believes to be hindering the performance of the Commons store and said he’s excited to face the challenge of turning the losing culture around.
Two minor details of the amended lease agreement should soon be ironed out between ST#3 and the city before ownership of the eatery can change hands and the new management can begin its work.
