EDINBURGH, Ind.–A woman has lost her life after a train struck her car in downtown Edinburgh. Authorities say that Sharon Gobin, 74, of Edinburgh, was traveling eastbound on East Main Cross Street in Edinburgh when her vehicle collided with the train. The reason for the accident is still under investigation. She was transported to Johnson Memorial Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
