COLUMBUS, Ind.–A local man was arrested Wednesday morning when a police officer says he noticed the suspect’s car weaving in and out of lanes near 25th Street and U.S. 31. Columbus Police Lt. Matt Harris says that Travis Castetter, 31, of Columbus, also hit the curb and damaged his vehicle as he pulled over for the traffic stop. Officers noted the driver had slurred speech and failed several field sobriety tests. Castetter was later transported to Bartholomew County Jail and booked on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.15 percent or greater.
