COLUMBUS, Ind.–Lt. Matt Harris of the Columbus Police Department says a gas station in east Columbus was robbed early Monday morning. The suspect is reportedly a white male, between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, and was wearing a dark hoodie and ski mask.
The robber allegedly entered the Marathon station at 1521 State St. at approximately 3:40 a.m., told the clerk that he had a gun, and demanded cash. Police say the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. A weapon was not displayed in the robbery and the cashier was unharmed.
