GREENWOOD, Ind.–A Center Grove High School teenager was killed Friday morning when the vehicle she was driving was struck by an SUV on State Road 135 in Greenwood. Authorities at the Greenwood Police Department say that Sarah Kish, 17, was on her way to school when a vehicle operated by Johnson County Animal Control collided with her.
Kish was treated at the scene and then transported to Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis where she later passed away from her injuries.
Police say the other driver was not injured. The accident is still under investigation.
