SOUTH CENTRAL INDIANA–There is a Winter Storm Warning in effect through Saturday at 11 p.m., for the south-central Indiana area. The National Weather Service says to expect to see heavy mixed precipitation. The latest prediction is for three to six inches of wet snow, along with a light glaze of ice. The Winter Storm Warning includes the cities of Columbus, Franklin, Greenwood, Shelbyville, North Vernon, and Greensburg.
Seymour is under a Winter Weather Advisory.
Thankfully, the Sunday forecast calls for a return to more spring-like conditions with sunny skies and a high of 45 degrees.
