SOUTH CENTRAL INDIANA–If you have weekend plans in south-central Indiana, you will need to keep an eye on the weather, particularly if you live or are travelling in Johnson, Shelby, and Decatur Counties. The area is expected to see several inches of precipitation ranging from rain to snow and everything in between, with higher chances of snow in the northern part of this area.
According to the National Weather Service in Indianapolis, the snow is expected to begin Friday night and last throughout Saturday. The high temperature on Saturday is expected to reach 35 degrees, with a low of 29. Sunday will see a reversal from the precipitation, with a forecast calling for mostly sunny skies and a high around 45 degrees.
