BROWN COUNTY, Ind.–After an investigation that began last October, the Indiana Gaming Commission on Wednesday made a total of three arrests in connection with an alleged cockfighting ring in Bartholomew and Brown Counties.
Authorities say Randall Herrin was taken into custody at his home in the 100 block of Jonesville Road in Bartholomew County. The other two suspects, Mark and Darina Herrin, were arrested at their residence in Brown County on Grandview Road, three miles northeast of Pike’s Peak. Officials estimate almost 150 birds had to be removed from the properties.
The Indiana Gaming Commission and ASPCA are still investigating in the wake of these arrests.
