BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind.–A Bartholomew County bridge that was shut down after sustaining major structural damage during April’s floods re-opened on Monday. The bridge on County Road 800S, between State Road 11 and U.S. 31, was made available to traffic following speedy repairs by Milestone Contractors.
County commissioners and highway department chief Danny Hollander praised Milestone for getting right to the job of fixing the issues, so that the roadway could be returned to service. The bridge was closed for six weeks.
