GREENSBURG, Ind.–At least four Mexican restaurants in the Greensburg and southeastern Indiana area were shut down Thursday afternoon following a bust by state agencies. News-gathering partner WRBI in Batesville says that Indiana Excise officers served warrants on the establishments at the conclusion of a two-year investigation by the Indiana Attorney General and Indiana Department of Revenue.
El Reparo restaurant locations in Greensburg, Brookville, and Rushville, along with Mezcal Bar & Grill in Rushville, share the same owner according to the Indiana Secretary of State. The state Alcohol and Tobacco Commission would not offer comment on the nature of the investigation or whether any arrests have been made.
