HOPE, Ind.—A local campground employee, accused of child molestation and several other crimes, was arrested over the weekend. Sgt. Jerry Goodin, public information officer with the Indiana State Police, says Larry Scott, 72, of Hope, was the subject of a complaint made to law enforcement late Saturday evening at the Ceraland Campgrounds.
As troopers began investigating, they called for an ISP detective with the Versailles post to assist with the case. They soon determined there was sufficient cause to charge the suspect with child molestation, child exploitation, vicarious sexual gratification, child solicitation, sexual battery, and possession of paraphernalia. Scott was taken into custody and transported to Bartholomew County Jail.
