INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.–The Indiana State Fair opens for its 17-day run today. Kicking off the annual exposition is a Friday concert by Rick Springfield at 7:30 p.m., on the Chevrolet Free Stage. Also on tap, is a balloon glow and tractor parade at the Hoosier Lottery Grandstand at 9 p.m.
The midway is open throughout the weekend from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and the hours for the expo hall are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. All other buildings are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Tickets are $8 in advance and $13 at the gate. Parking is $5 per vehicle. The fair ends on August 19.
