COLUMBUS, Ind.–Investigators with the Indiana State Police are looking into the death of a detainee at the Bartholomew County Jail. Sgt. Stephen Wheeles, public information officer for ISP’s Versailles district, tells Local News Digital that Cathy Hull, 61, of Columbus, was found unresponsive in her cell on Thursday.
The inmate was given immediate medical attention but ultimately passed away at the jail. No foul play is suspected at this time. Toxicology reports are pending.
Hull was incarcerated for a probation violation warrant which had resulted in her arrest this past Wednesday.
