FRANKLIN, Ind.–The 13th Annual Johnson County Sheriff’s Charity Ride is this weekend. The motorcycle ride departs the Franklin Walmart on Saturday morning, at 10:30 a.m., and makes its way back at about 5:30 p.m. The cost for the fundraiser is $40 for single riders and $60 if you have a passenger. The ride features stops in Martinsville, Franklin, Edinburgh, and Greenwood. Lunch and dinner is included in the donation.
The proceeds will be donated to Johnson County charities, along with Riley Hospital for Children, the Special Olympics, and the Children’s Organ Transplant Association. Those not taking part in the ride can still make donations at Walmart in the morning between 8 and 10 a.m.
Saturday traffic could be affected in and around Franklin, Martinsville, Edinburgh, Taylorsville, and Greenwood from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
