COLUMBUS, Ind.–The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of one of their finest. Sergeant Grover Crouch passed away suddenly on Tuesday from a heart attack. Crouch was known by many in the community as a compassionate officer who went out of his way to assist others.
The sheriff’s office says visitation will be Saturday, September 1, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., with the funeral immediately afterward at 11:30 a.m. The services will take place at the Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle Church, 701 South Main St., in Edinburgh. A graveside service will be performed on Tuesday, September 4, at 1 p.m., at Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston, Illinois.
