INDIANAPOLIS–The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Flood Watch that begins Wednesday evening and continues through Friday morning for Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson, and Jennings Counties.
Forecasters are predicting a gloomy, soggy Halloween followed by similar conditions for All Saint’s Day on Thursday. Two to four inches of rain is expected during the period as a cold front loiters near the Ohio River while a low-pressure system makes its way into the region.
Residents are urged to monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
