INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The National Weather Service says a Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect, for most of south-central Indiana, beginning at 10 p.m. on Tuesday and continuing until 7 a.m. on Wednesday. The advisory is for Bartholomew, Jackson, Johnson, Brown, Shelby, and Decatur Counties, including the cities of Columbus, Seymour, Franklin, Greenwood, Whiteland, Nashville, Shelbyville, and Greensburg.
Mixed precipitation is expected with total snow accumulations of up to two inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze. Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions and limited visibilities.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Use caution while driving.
