COLUMBUS, Ind. – Authorities at the Columbus Police Department (CPD) say a local man was arrested at a west side Columbus restaurant early Sunday morning on multiple warrants and for methamphetamine possession. At approximately 2:00 a.m., officers observed Samuel T. Allison, 30, enter the eatery in the 2200 block of Jonathan Moore Pike. They say they immediately recognized Allison and recalled that he had multiple warrants for his arrest through Bartholomew, Fountain, and Marion Counties.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident and CPD allegedly located a small bag of methamphetamine while searching his clothing. Allison was transported to the Bartholomew County Jail and remanded on the multiple warrants, as well as possession of methamphetamine.
