JACKSON COUNTY, Ind. – It is turkey season in Indiana. Sgt. Stephen Wheeles, public information officer for the Indiana State Police (ISP), says that a trooper responded to a “car vs. turkey” crash on Monday, between Brownstown and Seymour, on U.S. 50. The bird came completely through the windshield causing injuries to the driver.
ISP reminds motorists to use caution as the birds are on the move and they can cause serious damage to vehicles.
