COLUMBUS, Ind. – National Pavement Maintenance LLC will begin the Columbus crack sealing and filling program this Monday, April 29. It is part of the city’s preventive maintenance plan and officials hope that by keeping cracks sealed, less water will penetrate asphalt pavement, resulting in fewer potholes and longer lasting streets.
Crews will begin working in Carter Crossing and then move to Princeton Park, Progress Park, Spear Street, Wildflower, Shadow Creek Farms, and County Roads 200S and 150W. Streets will be marked “No Parking,” 24 hours prior to the work beginning. The project is expected to completed by late June.
