CROTHERSVILLE, Ind. – Indiana State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash Tuesday, near the 40-mile marker on Interstate 65, that claimed the life of a Jackson County man.
Randall Carr, 72, of Seymour, was traveling southbound on I-65, just south of the Uniontown exit. For an unknown reason, his vehicle drove off the west side of the roadway, hit an embankment, and rolled over before coming to a rest in a field on the west side of the interstate.
Carr sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision, and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Jackson County Coroner’s Office.
