COLUMBUS, Ind. – Our Hospice of South Central Indiana provides end of life, comfort care to all ages, and is one of the few programs in the region that cares for pediatric hospice patients. The complexity of pediatric end of life service can be costly and challenging to provide.
Matt and Cheryl Carothers and the Matthew Carothers Northwestern Mutual Team have generously responded to the need for pediatric hospice patients and their families. They recently provided a heartfelt gift to purchase Hospice Center patient room furnishings suitable for children including a special crib, toys, artwork, and a video monitor. The gift also underwrites new education for the staff.
Care would not be available through Our Hospice without the support of donors like the Matthew Carothers Northwestern Mutual Team. Laura Leonard, Our Hospice President, says everyone is grateful to them and all those who continue to support patients and families seeking comfort and an improved quality of life at every stage.
