GREENWOOD, Ind. – Johnson County 911 received a call Thursday night involving the theft of a white Ford Dually truck in Greenwood.
The Greenwood Police Department located the vehicle on State Road 135, and officers followed it into the Meijer Supercenter, off Main Street. After allegedly hitting several curbs and a concrete pole in the parking lot, the truck continued onto State Road 135. Eventually, the vehicle crashed into the crosswalk sign pole on the northwest side of the intersection at County Line Road and State Road 135.
After the truck came to a stop, police say a male subject exited the vehicle and began running on foot through a CVS parking lot toward South Illinois Street.
Officers eventually caught the subject, identified him as Troy Brawner, 47, of Indianapolis, and took into custody.
