
NORTH VERNON, Ind. – As a part of an ongoing drug investigation, the North Vernon Police Department, the Jennings County Sheriff’s Department, and the Indiana Counterdrug Task Force executed a search warrant on Tuesday at a property in the area of County Road 450S and State Road 7, in Jennings County.
Officers made simultaneous entry into three separate buildings and were able to detain four subjects. All were arrested without incident. Law enforcement allegedly recovered about five grams of heroin, a small amount of narcotic pills, and various drug paraphernalia, including syringes and smoking pipes.
Taken into custody were:
Danielle Malcomb, 23 of North Vernon, charged with possession of a syringe, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of a narcotic drug.
Richard Woodward, 37, of Deputy, jailed for possession of a syringe, possession of paraphernalia, possession of a narcotic drug, and visiting a common nuisance.
Codi Brashear, 28, of Butlerville, booked for possession of a syringe, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of a narcotic drug.
Charles Perry, 29, of North Vernon, charged with possession of a syringe, possession of paraphernalia, possession of a narcotic drug, and maintaining a common nuisance.
