COLUMBUS, Ind. – Jonathan L. Rohde, 40, a local attorney and the Chief of Police for the Columbus Police Department, announced his intentions on Thursday to seek the GOP nomination for Judge of Bartholomew Superior Court 2 next year.
After receiving his undergraduate degree at Indiana University, Rohde was hired by the Columbus Police Department as a police officer. Since then he has worked his way through the ranks while also earning his Doctorate degree from Indiana University. Adding to his accolades, he worked as an attorney for Worton & Rohde and was also selected by the Indiana Supreme Court to serve as the Bartholomew County Mortgage Facilitator.
For several years, Rohde has served the Columbus Police Department, practiced law, and taught as an adjunct professor at Ivy Tech and IUPUC.
