NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The North Vernon Police Department (NVPD) responded to an ORV injury crash on Manor Road in North Vernon on Tuesday. The initial call indicated that the vehicle had rolled over on top of the driver, but when officers arrived the vehicle had reportedly been lifted and moved.
Shane Spears, 38, of North Vernon was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to NVPD, the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and speed could be a contributing factor to the crash.
