COLUMBUS, Ind. – The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) presents annual awards to the tournaments with the best individual hospitality, charitable giving, and volunteer base. One of the AJGA honors is the most game-changing event, and this year The Circle K Junior Championship hosted by Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, was the winner.
The 2018 Game Changer award was given to Otter Creek because of the increased tournament revenue, player and volunteer experience, and more aspects that added to overall quality of the event.
“Our exceptional volunteers and dedicated tournament committee make this event special,” said John Fairbanks, Tournament Chair. “Details matter. AJGA players often comment that there are so many spotters on each hole it feels like a PGA event.”
