
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The number of unemployment claims filed by Hoosiers in May fell compared to April acording to the Indiana Departmet of Workforce Development (DWD).
Unemployment claims in May dropped to 14,296 compared to 17,914 in April, a 20% decline. The DWD also reported that Indiana’s unemployment rate in May did not change from 3.6% in April, which is the same as the national rate.
