NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The city of North Vernon is celebrating the Fourth of July, starting with the North Vernon Fire Department’s Annual Pancake and Sausage Breakfast, at 2000 North Madison Ave. From 6 to 11 a.m., pancakes and sausage will be served to the public. A free will donation being accepted.
At 11 a.m., at North Vernon City park, food vendors will be open for the day, and they will be paired with some live music in the evening from two bands, Spare Change and Rude Mood.
Then, at 10 p.m. the all-day affair concludes with the North Vernon Parks and Recreation fireworks celebration to honor Independence Day.
