CROTHERSVILLE, Ind. – Indiana State Police (ISP) busted two individuals for drugs on Interstate 65, near Crothersville, on Wednesday.
After conducting a traffic stop on a Chevy truck, troopers became suspicious of criminal activity and called a K-9 to the scene. ISP says the police dog alerted to the smell of drugs, and officers allegedly located 28 grams of suspected methamphetamine inside the vehicle.
The driver, Ryan Plessinger, 33, of North Vernon, and his passenger, Rose Victorino, 57, of Crothersville, were arrested on drug charges. Following a trip to the Jackson County Jail, authorities say they found Victorino to be in possession of an additional 40 grams of meth, which was concealed on her person.
Both suspects are facing felony charges of dealing methamphetamine and possesssion of meth.
