JENNINGS COUNTY, Ind. – A Jennings County Sheriff’s Office deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on an individual driving a pickup truck in Center Township, on Saturday, July 6.
The officer was able to identify the driver as Daniel Zimmerman, and through previous investigations, knew that he did not have a valid drivers license. Zimmerman allegedly refused to pull over for law enforcement, and attempted to drive away. The chase lasted for about a mile on U.S. 50 before the vehicle finally came to a stop.
Zimmerman was arrested on preliminary charges of driving with a suspended license, and resisting law enforcement.
