COLUMBUS, Ind. – Three new officers joined the ranks of the Columbus Police Department (CPD) when they were joined by their families and sworn in by Columbus Mayor Jim Lienhoop on Tuesday.
Alex Hill, 21, John Busack, 23, and Adriane Polley, 21, all of Columbus, took the oath at yesterday’s Board of Public Works and Safety meeting. For the next several weeks, the new officers will undergo their training at CPD before attending the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in September.
