COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team (JNET) caught two more individuals and took them into custody on drug-related charges on Monday. Bryce Hatton, 20, and Isabel Nida, 19, both of Columbus, were busted after a search warrant was granted to law enforcement.
After a drug investigation that led to two counts of dealing in illegal narcotics, an arrest warrant was served on Hatton. Upon making the arrest, law enforcement allegedly found illegal narcotics, fentanyl, marijuana, drug-related paraphernalia and cash at the residence in which Hatton was staying. Nida was also apprehended and the two were taken to the Bartholomew County jail.
Charges for both Hatton and Nida include dealing in cocaine and marijuana, possession of narcotics and marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of paraphernalia.
“JNET will never stop pursuing those who are distributing and abusing dangerous drugs in Bartholomew County,” said Sheriff Matt Myers. “Collectively, we vow to maximize our resources to succeed in this mission.”
