NASHVILLE, Ind. – After an investigation found probable cause, a Brown County search warrant was issued Monday afternoon regarding possible methamphetamine dealing for a residence on Plum Creek Road in Nashville. The warrant included the property and also Christopher James, 35, of Nashville, for supposedly dealing large amounts of meth from that location. Troopers and detectives from the Indiana State Police (ISP), along with the Brown County Sheriff’s Department, executed the search warrant.
The suspect was found inside the residence. Troopers also allegedly located over 100 grams of a crystal substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine. along with ecstasy, psilocybin mushrooms, marijuana, pills, dimethyltryptamine, six long guns, four handguns, (one with an obliterated serial number and one which was apparently stolen from Lanesville, Indiana).
James was taken into custody on three felony charges, transported to the Brown County Jail, and booked for dealing methamphetamine over 10 grams (with a firearm), possession of meth over 28 grams (with a firearm), and possession of stolen firearms.
