COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus Animal Care Services is assisting the Adoption Medical Fund by scheduling its inaugural CATalina Wine Mixer, this Friday, July 26.
The event is being hosted by Mark and Wendy Elwood, who will entertain the community with a night of wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction. A cash bar is also planned. Proceeds benefit the Adoption Medical Fund, which helps pay for the medical needs of pets. Money raised helps cover spaying/neutering costs, veterinarian treatment, and other services for pets.
Donations are important because the fund does not use tax dollars, but instead relies on fines, fees, and monetary donations.
