COLUMBUS, Ind. – An officer from the Columbus Police Department’s Intelligence-Led Policing Unit arrested a wanted man last Thursday afternoon after he tried to avoid law enforcement.
The officer recognized the man as being Kolt Kreinhagen, of Columbus, as the suspect was riding a bike near Gladstone and McKinnley Avenues. After confirming a warrant for his arrest, police tried to stop him but he rode his bike away to avoid being captured. He later began fleeing on foot but was apprehended when officers used a taser to help catch him.
Kreinhagen was remanded on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement, criminal mischief, and a Bartholomew County warrant.
