JENNINGS COUNTY, Ind. – In Jennings and Jefferson county, State Road 250 is scheduled to close from State Road 7 to State Road 3, starting this Monday, July 29, through August 1. According to the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) the stretch of road will close for culvert replacement work each day, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., while work is completed.
Also, Dave O’Mara Contractor Inc. will begin patching a 9.7-mile section of U.S. 50 in Jennings County beginning Monday, July 29. The work is part of a $3.1 million patching and paving project. INDOT says patching will be followed by milling and paving, with the project’s completion date scheduled for October 31.
