COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Southwestern Bartholomew Water Corporation says a boil advisory is in effect for some of their customers in western Bartholomew County. After water main repairs on Tuesday, customers along Nelson Ridge Road, Georgetown Road, County Road 850W, and the west end of Baker Hollow Road, and County Road 750W are all included in the advisory.
The boil advisory will be lifted on Friday, August 9, at 4 p.m. As a precaution, customers should bring water to a full boil for five minutes before consumption or use in cooking and food preparation.
